2011 presented us with extremely challenging weather conditions resulting in the disappointment of the first day's racing being cancelled, however triumphing over adversity, congratulations go to Nick Appell and his CASNA Group team, winners in 1st place overall in the 2011 Profile Sailing Cup.
A well deserved 2nd place went to Small Luxury Hotels of the World and to Hilton in 3rd. place.
Hotly tipped Jumeirah should also take pride for doing remarkable well and keeping right up with the fleet in spite of storm damage to their mainsail.
On behalf of Profile and our regatta organisers, we would like to thank our competitors for the good spirit in which they participated in this year's racing and to all our auction prize donors who helped us to raise over £15,000 for our official charity, Springboard UK.
